The moment had finally arrived…

Audience:Anyone

The moment had finally arrived when the past costumes were lined up in correct order behind the tall wall with long beautiful lights dangling down off of it.You could hear the band singing their song ‘Faded’ . The audience were clapping so loud.I could feel my heart beating through my chest. I felt butterflies in my stomach as soon as i was just about to go on stage. While we were waiting or the person in front of us to finish I could see Marty just sitting behind the fake car, The hosts (Willow and Samantha) describing everyone's costumes,All the grand/parents just sitting there shouting out ‘yeah! whoohoo!’ .I was trying to see everything in slow motion but before i could do that we were already on. My heart starts beating faster, and faster and I can feel the painted mask pressing down on my cheeks. When we walk to the first pose marki felt the pressure of the lights on me and than I do our pose. We go to the next ‘x’ mark and do the second pose. Then we get to the last one and a little boy says out loud ‘Look at the tiger’ we started smiling and walking off .When the audience no longer saw us backstage helpers were helping us get outside by pushing

the door open. As we were walking out I could smell the essence of perfume flowing through the air. Than we arrive back to class and than we get dressed and go home and rest.
